The word "point" has to be interpreted based upon the surrounding information in a sentence, and prefix/suffix modifiers. For example (These are ONLY examples, without meaning beyond their own sentences) : A line is defined by two points, a plane by three points. I pointed out that some words have multiple meanings. A pointer is used in an opcode when the address of the information is unknown at compile time. An appointed official is often a bureaucrat, regardless of political party. A pointless argument wastes time. A pointed remarked can be cutting. Need I go on?
