I think you may recall, Archytas, years ago, before he was elected... I dubbed Barack Obama... OreO.... Well, since he became U.S. President and took the "W"hite "H"ouse... I have taken to calling him WH-OreO Obama.....Drone strikes and "targeted" assassinations... I don't like them at all. I think it muddies the "political " lines, often, and opens the way to retaliation "in kind" that muddies and undermines the application of international treaties and "conventions" of war. At first, it appeared that WH-OreO was going to lead the way back toward the rule of "treaty and international law" (and away from "torture" of terror-prisoners).... But then (now) in this "drone" regard, it appears that he has crossed that line further still.... The person at issue for confirmation as CIA director... Brennan...is a throw-back from the "enhanced interrogation" days.... and has headed the current drone program.....
