Coupers, Here is picture of my coupe 415CD, updated
to D in logs some years ago. I bought the plane last fall in need of some major
repair. First item was a spar section replace do to corrosion at the right rear
spar attach fitting. Fitting looked suspicious, so removal revealed the
corrosion. A spar splice was purchased from Univair along with instructions.
Next item was the installation of a new Skytec push button starter, spendy but
worth it in the long run. The main fuse. header tank was seeping so it was
removed, rivets drilled out, sloshing compound removed, flamemaster pro sealed
and riveting proved to put the tank back in airworthy condition. ALL work was
approved and signed off by my A&I. A piper hand brake is on order does any
one know of a 337 for this modification? A pic. of 3041H is included. Dick
