Jim,
I agree with your post.  I receive Digest list version of messages (i.e.
at
midnight, I receive all of the days messages in one e-mail).  If someone
replies without deleting all but the message they are replying to, we get
to
read the entire Digest again and again.  It may not be necessary to copy
the
post that we are replying to, just delete everything below your new
posting
before hitting SEND.
I have only copied the message of Jim Brennan in my reply.  We will see in
the next Digest if this helps with the duplication creating the excessive
length of the Digest.
