Hi Cyrus,
Floats were tested by Edo extensively in 1946, as I recall. This testing is the source of the float pictures (and even ads) that surface from time to time. The plane was never certified on floats because the effect of necessary water rudders and up elevator to make water operations feasible also made the plane capable of entering, but not exiting, a spin. The prototype spun to destruction (the pilot survived).

I've not been able to find the answer to the question about floats. It appears to not be STC'd yet photo's exist. can we put floats on ours or not? I've got 500 hours seaplane and would love to.
