Jack; I agree. I found one that would do the job for $1800. I don't think I am going to find the cash to buy it. It still galls me that the feds stick their heads in the sand even after a problem is pointed out. Does anyone remember the name of the guy that sat near me at the Sun and Fun Ercoupe forum, who indicated that he had a supply of borescopes that met the requirement? He was the one that convinced the inspector who was working the problem that the requirements were OK and the borescopes were available for less than $500.
