<x-tad-bigger>My Alon is named Sassy Baby III. Sassy Baby I and Sassy Baby II were Lockheed P-38 Lightnings that my father was the crew chief on in Belgium during WW2. Since my father used to own this Alon, I thought Sassy Baby III was a logical name for it. Interestingly, the vertical stabilizers and rudders on the P-38 look almost exactly like the Aircoupe tail. </x-tad-bigger>

<x-tad-bigger>When I paint the plane next year, one of the paint schemes that I'm considering is to paint it exactly like Sassy Baby II. I have some great photos of Sassy Baby II, complete with invasion stripes, squadron tail markings, and my mother's name painted on the side of the right engine cowling. I just haven't decided if I want to go with military markings or not.</x-tad-bigger>
