The first flyer fatality was in a Wright plane. An Army officer if memory
serves me right.

Subject: [COUPERS-FLYIN] seat belts, shoulder harness

Hi Folks,

I can research this, but I thought that one of you who are also interested
in aviation history might know.
What was the first plane that had seat belts and/or shoulder harnesses
installed?

Seems like I remember one of the Wrights' or Curtis'
planes carried the dubious distinction of being involved in the first pilot
fatality - which pointed up the need for strapping in the pilot. Anyone who
knows the correct history on this, please enlighten me.

Thanks,
Spook
