STC # for 0-200 Engine is SA2628WE

Syd
Please clarify for me...
I was under the impression that many C-85 engines, when overhauled, get a
crank from an 0-200 engine because the cranks for the C-85's are not
available anymore. This "crank swap" requires an STC but this does not give
you an 0-200 engine, it gives you a C-85 engine with an 0-200 crank.
Officially, you still have a C-85 engine. Assuming I am correct about this,
would the fuel burn and the performance of the C-85 engine with a "crank
swap" not be almost the same as a C-85 engine with it's original crank?
I was also under the impression that there is no STC for an actual 0-200
engine to be used in an Ercoupe. Please let me know if I am correct and if
not, educate me.
<<Lynn...I think I recall you teaching me something on this subject when we
are on our Ercoupe hunt last year, but my short term memory is bad...as it
has been for the last 49 years! Your sage advice is again requested>>
Thanks
