There is little love between the city of Crystal River
and the county of Citrus. The county owns and controls the airport, not
the city. A couple years ago, the city tried to annex the land near the
airport to build a Wal-Mart which in the long run would have meant the demise of
the airport (as it would be in the runway protection area). That's why you
don't see a link. Instead, check out the county's
website:
I vote for Crystal River, but I'm
biased.
I'm pretty sure I can get us special treatment
(transportation and perhaps discount on fuel).
