Here's another input on this string; might be of interest to some Coupers:
I keep my ALON in a T-hangar at St Lucie County Int'l Airport (FPR), Ft
Pierce, FL. The airport is 7 miles from my house. The hangar cost is
$350/mo with electricity and water, plus pull-out and push-iin if needed (I
don't). Unfortunately, the waiting list for hangars is lengthy. Some local
pilots have found hangars at Sebastian, Okeechobee and Indiantown; not
significantly cheaper, and each about 45 minute drive . They all now have
waiting lists, I'm told.
If it is any consolation at all, local boat dock prices have escalated
dramatically and are almost impossible to find - live-aboards are screaming
for HELP.

I am in NJ and the tie down at Teterboro is $450 a month. I am at CDW and it
is $175 for a tie down and hangars are a 5 year waiting list. If I drive 50
miles I can get a hangar for $350 but then I cant fly after work.
