My instructor has been making noises about needing to train in a plane with rudders, as well as the coupe. Linda,   A flight instructor is just another hired hand.  This person has no magic, and is paid By You to do a job.  If he wants to extend the contract to line his pocket, Fire That Person.  Remember, the FBO has planes that they'd love to rent - with peddles.  It comes in really handy for them when they have to pay on the bank loan on their plane.  Pay For Yours.         Percy
