Now there's two cases of sport pilots with 2 control Coupe checkrides and no restriction. I think Fred got it right below. Even then, my logbook endorsements say nothing about my 415C being 2 control, and that would allow me to legally fly a 3 control 415C with rudder pedals. Even if legal, I would not try it without some dual time first.
