When I took my checkride I watched the person before me fail before he ever left the ground. He did a prefilght and forgot to untie the tail. The examiner let him start the plane and when it wouldnt move he shut it down and sent him home.

Scott, you know what you need to work on. In 1969, I took my checkride in a 415G. That is when you
could be licensed without a restriction put on it. I forgot to fasten my seatbelt, and did not notice it
till halfway through the ride. I had a very understanding and "lenient" checkride person and he let it by.
It was a very windy day and he asked me if I had ever flown in that much wind.......I think he was as nervous
about flying with me as I was about doing everything right.  You will pass next time.
Good luck and remember to buckle up!!!!
