I went to see it and certainly recommend it.
Some non-pilots even felt a little dizzyness from the
aerobatics.
There are some flaws, such as a lot of inverted flying and those planes
never had seat belts or harnesses.. I don't think the Niewport 17 was much of an
aerobatic plane.
Also at the beginning of the film a plane taxies by with a Continental
engine...
A few little slips, but overall an excellent film, Not too much kissy-kissy
stuff and plenty of flying. The early century details are all very authentic.
The zeppelin does look a bit fake.
may favorite part was the joy ride with the chick over the lakes at sunset.
I had been doing some similar low level flying over lake Conroe that morning.
The feeling in the seat of my pants remains there.
