True, an electronic (wire) transfer is safer and quicker than a Certified Check deposit. However this would necessitate providing your banking info to the "perps" - a bad idea. They already have too much info, if just your e-mail address and name. In the situation I described earlier, the day after I provided such limited info, I received a WARNING from MICROSOFT and e-BAY that my e-Bay "Pay Pal Account" had been "queried" by a foreign source claiming to be me!  I don't have such an account, nor have I ever purchased or sold anything on e-Bay. Al is right - you can't win in these schemes, but you can lose big time.  Just say NO!
