Interesting question! Are you meaning to use it in the ground or while flying? If you are thinking of using it while flying, I would have two comments: 1. The weather picture will not be airplane - centered, like on a GPS XM WX unit. The weather picture will be just for those locations or regions made available by the provider. 2. Would sending (the location request) and receiving (the data) while flying, be a violation of FCC regulations regarding cell phone use in airplanes?? Probably. Eliacim
