In my own situation, I'll compare it to waiting until the 4 flat tires are pumped up with air (bad analogy) or better, changed before sinking money into a major tune up on an old car. One needs to be done before the other is started. Until those tires are taken care of, I'll point out the obvious but will not lift a wrench.
