That's a GREAT idea I have not heard before!

I think we need to pick our battles and start with achievable goals:

# 1. Allowing 415-Ds converted back to C or CD to be flown by Sport Pilots
(got the semantics right, he he!)

# 2. Dumping 3rd Class requirement from Rec Pilot.

Those are two achievable goals, which will be easier to sell. If AOPA is
working on # 2, then we need to focus on #1 and IMHO I think the right way
is through the EAA. They have the muscle and have the experience.
