Eliacim and any other Coupers who have never flown into Oshkosh,

Syd's flight into Oshkosh is the best way to fly there. My first Oshkosh
flight was in 1980 as the 75 hour PIC and only non-student pilot in a
loaded 172. It was hectic to say the least. Over the years I've flown in
a dozen or so times but I stopped flying in because the traffic and
congestion seemed to be growing each year. My answer to that was to
drive and camp in the campground. Last year, I flew in with Syd and
camped on the flight line by my Coupe. It was a very easy and pleasant
flight; perhaps the easiest I ever made to Oshkosh during the
convention. If you can control your airspeed and your altitude, you've
got it made. Send for the AirVenture Notam when it is published. Read
through it and post any questions you have concerning the procedures on
this web site. Then join in the fun. It's a unique experience that
you'll never forget.
