I removed the conventional vacuum driven Artificial Horizon and installed an
electric gyro. I don't have a Direction Gyro. Don't feel I need one for the
type of flying I do in the Coupe and I can use the six-pack or the HIS page on
my Garmin 496 for that purpose, in necessary.

  Glen,

I didn't notice from the (really good) pictures - what are you using for gyro
instruments with no venturis? Do you have a vacuum pump or are you using
solid-state "gyros"?

  Al

We weigh it next week but I guess it will weigh in just over 1400 lbs empty

Prior to the rebuild it was at 905. Actually, it may way weigh less as I
removed some heavy flight instruments as well as the venturis and all related
hardware.

  Keep your fingers crossed.
