Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry. A special thank you to Tandy 
who was the first responder and made two (2) trips to the airport to 
find her manual, only to have it be for the JHP-500. Tandy, thank you. 

I did find an electronic copy online of the user's manual for the JHP-
500.  With that in hand, my stubbornness, and my fat fingers punching 
the buttons continously, I was finally able to figure out most of the 
features on the JHP-200 enough to be able to use it here at home and at 
the airport.  It is a nice radio with lots of features, i.e. VOR, 
memory w/scan, flip-flop, duplex transmit/receive; more than I need for 
it's intended use, but the price was right.
