Unfortunately the 83 yr. old pilot didn't make it. His recently recertified ELT didn't go off and he hadn't filed a flight plan. It took four days to find the wreck. He was found, unfortunately too late ,by the cell phone company pinging his cellphone before it went dead. He was flying over extremely rugged territory. Please flie flight plans or use flight following when you can.
