I'm always glad to hear of pilots that do their own work because they trust 
themselves more than a mwchanic. I bet you didn't know that it is illegal to 
rebuild or even add fluid to your compass unless you are an instrument rated 
repair station. Not even an IA rated mechanic is allowed to install fluid. Just 
wanted to let you know all my best.
