Rick:

I have installed a plexiglass panel on the inside of the large baggage
compartment where the master switch is. It now holds the master switch, a 5 amp
breaker and two 1/4" Frankenstein style bolt heads where I can attach the clips
of my battery charger. The breaker protects against any metal object that may
bridge the gap between the posts. I pull the breaker under normal conditions
and push it in only when charging.
My A&P said with the addition of the breaker, it should not deserve as much as
a 337. it is only used for trickle charging the battery, not for jump starting
the engine.
