Tuscaloosa, eh? That's where a line guy ran over my luggage with his fuel truck, crushing my GPS and some other things a few years ago. Sounds like the same guy.
I never let anyone put fuel in my airplane. I always ask the fuel person if they mind if I put the fuel in myself, and have never been refused. Also, I never let anyone but me put the fuel caps back on. I've seen too many Ercoupe pilot complaining that the line person put their fuel caps on backwards, and now they can't remove them.
