Organizing such an event will give you the best opportunity to gain positive publicity to your section or country, not only within ESN but also among universities and other official bodies. Dear sections, every year Erasmus Student Network organizes the events that help their members to meet, share ideas and learn from each other. Every year we have a great time during these meeting and this year... ...YOU ARE WELCOME TO BE THE ORGANIZING COMITTEE OF THOSE EVENTS! - South European Platform Between September and November the countries from the South Europe meet. The SEP is a �little AGM� for the members from South Europe. They discuss the status of ESN, and through workshops try to learn more about the participation in the work of the network. Workshops, meetings, parties... Four days of SEP will guarantee the efficient sharing of ideas about ESN work and getting to know other southern friends.The last meeting took place in Morocco- during 5 days we took part in workshops, listened to lectures and visited Marrakesh (amazing place!). The next one... your turn! - Central European Platform First of all, remember, CEP is very CENTRAL for ESN. As any of the regional platforms, this one became a strong voice in influencing the way ESN will work and develope in the future. The four days of workshops, meeting with local authorities, discussions about the shape of ESN on the regional level, will help the international level to make imporant decisions. One week in autumn is booked! - Cultural Medley This meeting is the most entertaining in the life of ESN as it gives the best opportunity to enjoy the culture of a country, where the meeting is held. In order to achieve that, the section should organize workshops concerning cultural topics (about typical music, dances, traditions, food and all cultural pecularities...;))The most importantly, the atmosphere of the place is to be filled with the waves of pallomeri spirit between participants....J AND THE MOST IMPORTANT: - Annual General Meeting 2006!!!! The meeting with around 350 participants is the main decision- making body of ESN. AGM decides how the network should be run the following year. This is why it has to be organized professionally. Usually it takes place at the end of February or beginning of March and lasts for 4 days. The program begins Thursday evening and the official meeting is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Every section is welcome to apply to organize the AGM. The applicant will present themselves during AGM 2005 and be voted by the sections. The section with most votes will organize the next AGM. The applicants should keep in mind that they should stick to what they promised when applying: if the participation fee is 120 euros, that is what it should be in reality too.
