The ESN Int. Board
got a request from the International Student Travel Confederation (ISTC www.istc.org), a very important player on the
Student Travel market. It is also the organisation that issues the international
ISIC card. Thus a very important contact with which me might go for further
cooperation.
The ISTC kindly
asked us to forward the following email to "our" exchange
students.
It is about a survey
for a research on cultural influence when being abroad. Of course ESN is a
perfect partner for that.
So please forward
the email below to all your exchange students.
In exchange ESN will
be promoted in all documents produced as a main partner. ESN will thereby gain a
huge PR effect.
!Important!:
-The mail has to be
sent to the exchange student maximum 2 weeks after their
arrival
-You need to report
to me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) when you sent
the mail in which city and to how many exchange students.

Subject: Your cultural and personal development during
your student exchange
Exchange students are explorers that dive into a new and totally unknown environment. They gain an insight view into the city, country and culture that they have chosen for their unforgettable experience, which changes their lives forever.
You have been chosen to participate in a Study on
the effect of Cultural Tourism and student exchange on the Attitudes and
Behaviour of exchange students. This survey is a joint cooperation between the
Erasmus Student Network (www.esn.org), the International
Student Travel Confederation (www.istc.org), and ATLAS
(www.atlas-euro.org ). Please
answer the questions in this survey within 2 weeks maximum upon your arrival.
In order to measure the impact of your student
exchange programme, this research is only valid when you also answer the 2nd
questionnaire when you are back in your home country. Therefore we would also
like to contact you after your exchange to find out what impact it has
had. For this please fill in your email address at the end of the
questionnaire. Any information you supply will be treated in the utmost
confidence and will only be used for the purpose of this study.
The survey will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
