the less floaty is good. it also adds some terminal emphasis, like, OK!
the color gradient
suggests ink drying, or perhaps invisible ink being revealed. i like it.
i like #3. wife suggested that the gradient on the word etch have more
blue at the start.
#4 would be good, too, but i think it weakens the impact of the
underline. that could be
good because we do not want to suggest too much finality (heh, etched in
stone).

They are numbered, but you are referencing #9 which isn't there, so I
presume you are talking about counting them manually. In that case, in
