Ok, got the rpm. Thanks. I logged in as a user and did: rpmbuild --rebuild ethercat-1.5.4adb56c4198d-1.1.src.rpm
then I logged in as root and went to /usr/src/packages/RPMS/ and I see there are directories called athlon, i386, i486, i586, i686, noarch. All of these are empty. Did something go wrong? > rpm -Uhv <name_of_rpm> How do I determine <name_of_rpm>? How do I determine my kernel flavor?
