Here are three new versions for round 2:

Also, I didn't do any versions with multiple sizes of stars because, with the font from 03 anyway, there is no line variation, so I wanted to have the icons (the stars) mimic the quality of line in the font by being consistently sized. Additionally, we're going to have reproducibility issues if we start making shapes any smaller than they currently are.

One more thing: next round of revisions is the last round, so get your feedback in now or suffer the consequences of silence :)

Hi Jesse,

First, thanks a lot for your proposals :-)

I really like proposals 1 and 3… For the both because they use fonts with strong and interesting personality, more specifically for the first one because it reflects well the organic nature of Étoilé with the leaf and its components nature when you look at the little constellation. For proposal 3, it looks may be a bit too much "corporate" or enterprise" oriented. For proposal 1, I'm not sure it is really important to know it's a flower, the live plant inspired shape is what is important imho, but I understand Nicolas point about it (it looks somewhat mysterious ;-). I don't really like proposal 2 because the font is too much impersonal in my opinion and the direct star symbol use is too much illustrative. I have similar objections for proposals 4, 5, 6. I would prefer we try to push farther concept 1 or 3 and may be we avoid any star symbol use in the logo unless a really audacious concept is found with this symbol.

cheers,
Quentin.
