On my system, all the frameworks have a symlink in GNUstep/System/ Library/Libraries, so they don't need -Lxxx.framework/Versions/A/. I believe that's supposed to be the default behaviour for GNUstep- make.

The problem arises when you try to link frameworks between repository modules when these frameworks are not yet installed. iirc.
