I'll do some research this week. Before I start though, do we have
a list of what we need sounds for? For example, OS X has the "put
something in the trash" sound, and the "deleting from trash" sound,
etc.
Hmm, good point. I was actually thinking of more generic sounds like
the ping, pop, glass and hero sounds on OS X that are available to
any application that needs to go 'beep' in an identifiable way.
Other actions probably need specific sounds too. Emptying the trash
is one. On OS X we also have the 'puff of smoke' sound for things
being destroyed.
