GNUstep.sh is still to be sourced when you compile something, but not
anymore for end users interacting with GNUstep at shell level.
However in this case you need to adjust your PATH for tools installed
in System/Tools or Local/Tools and not in usual Unix locations. For
applications, just use openapp usually installed along the other
tools.
That's interesting, because this is what just happened to me when
testing my system:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ defaults read
deafults: error while loadig shared libraries: libgnustep-base.so.
1.14: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ . /System/Library/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ defaults read
Typewriter NSRecentDocuments '(
...
Which tells me that something weird is going on with the terminal or
defaults... however, when I log out and log back in, and try
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ openapp Typewriter.app
It all works as planned and Typewriter opens up.
