I can make some more theoretical changes for the other ones.
(Honestly, I think it's more doing a case *bsd) for using fetch
instead of wget).

These were the only changes needed to get things working in FreeBSD,
honestly. The FreeBSD README implying that there's a lot to do seems a
bit inaccurate :) -- it's literally that easy. There was a change I
needed to get rid of a -march=i586 elsewhere, but that was taken care
of as well. Azalea has issues (menuserver is *really* weird, dockapp
exhibits some issues, the about window doesn't get styled, and closing
a modal dialog kills the X server's communication with the
application), but I doubt these are FreeBSD-specific, and I'm not sure
how to debug them.
