It fails to find your rc.xml, which is the default setting.
You can create one by using obconf.
It seems to be that your openbox rc.xml is broken.
If it happens to openbox, it will happens to Azalea.
That's the part I haven't touch yet. :)
You can also try to compile from source code,
which works fine for me un Ubuntu.

But it cannot find a theme, which is a critical error.
The default theme is "TheBear".
I have my theme installed under ~/.local/share/themes/
Again, if you use obconf, it will find available themes for you.

I guess it is true that you need obconf to start.
