I decided to split Agenda into a few projects including gui/non-gui frameworks and itself, hope this help. gui contains neccessary views like clocks, non-gui contains querying frameworks loosely based on sqlite and address book and also the syncing backend eg. groupdav layer. This would allow more parties to get involve with the code. eg. AClock can display events without runnning Agenda. I think it would be nice if I can host the non-ui frameworks with etoile and the rest on gap. What do you think?
In general, I think it is a good idea to split it into application and frameworks part. And personally, I like to have Agenda in Etoile. So the only question of mine is why do you want to host the application and framework in different places ? If the integration is what you concern, I would say it is a minor issue since you already consider to put frameworks in Etoile. Yen-Ju
