I wonder what is the stand of Etoile project for the license and copyright ?

I would say that it's currently an aggregate of various modules owned by their copyright holders. If it isn't mandatory for legal reason to put the whole stuff under a single license, I would prefer to keep everything as is.

I am thinking to collect several applications from other projects:

Backbone
Terminal (Etoile has one, but not working yet.
 I don't know why choose iTerm instead of Terminal.app ? )

I choosed iTerm mainly because it provides tabs and i18n support. Moreover it works with BSD unlike Terminal I think.

GSImgApps
 Preview
 Vindaloo
 PopplerKit

Good idea.

StepTalk(The last one which still work on GNUstep. 0.13 or 0.12 ?)

Why not, but it's probably better maintained under GNUstep umbrella.

Addresses

Yes.

Most of them are not maintained for quite a long time.
I figure it won't be hurt to put them together before we even ask each
maintainer,
which may take a while.

True.

These applications are nice to have, but probably better stay in their projects:

GNUMail + Pantomime
GWorkspace

Not interested to have them in Étoilé.

Feel free to include Preview, Vindaloo, PopplerKit and Addresses in Étoilé.

Cheers,
Quentin.
