Please advise/flame/etc as necessary.
I came across Étoilé recently and got very interested because i've
been planning to do a prototype system for sometime now and to my
suprise almost all my goals are similar to Étoilé's goals. The html
document outlines minor difference in goals so i need to know if i
can use Étoilé to do this or just join Étoilé.
It looks like your ideas share a lot of real similarities! From my
perspective, any differences are very minor, and could be discussed
and implemented based on collective decision. Actually, some of the
differences aren't even necessarily differences, but rather they fill
gaps in our mockup. If we equate your stacks with our projects, and
treat the shelf as a sort of "project-launcher", then we've got a
pretty cohesive vision.
I'd, personally, love to have you involved.
The only real thing to consider is that we're still at very early
stages. We're still dealing on the application level, and that likely
won't change until we have a solid environment from which to modify.
So, patience is a virtue here. ;)
Additionally, what is your development background? Do you have any
Objective-C experience? If not, I'm sure we can point you to some
great resources.
