If you want to use it before it gets included in GNUstep svn (if it eventually does get included), it shouldn't hurt to just use it. It won't conflict with anything even if it gets included in GNUstep, since it would use a different class name (it would just be part of the NSBitmapImageRep class). Just use the NSImage class normally, link against (or include) my class, and everything should be seamless.
