My main suggestion would be to display the Shelf (the part with
stacks) horizontally. I have two reasons in mind:
- more space
Most of my applications tend to use up all space on the y-axis but
left space unused on the x-axis. This is due to the fact that most
applications are document-based. Therefore space on th y-axis is more
valueable than space on the x-axis. Conclusion: This should be
configurable :-)
