This is only half the truth of what happened. We started to discuss
different solutions and came up with two of them. Quentin then promissed
to look into them and report back, whether he could live with the other
solution. And now I am waiting for him to report back.

You see the difference? In your view GNUstep broke things and is
reluctant to fix them. In my story we are willing to fix stuff, but
somebody from Etoile first needs to confirm that we have an actual solution.
