sounds like it broke.... hmm... could be a bug. Nice thing about Debian
is really good bug tracking. bugs.debian.org, though in this case, it
might not help you.

apt-get install --reinstall whateverpackagefromxyouwant
I'd try the server for the video card you need.
Also, send a cc: to [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you want...
someone there might have a suggestion. The support on Debian is usually
very good. Give all the details (like what version etc)
