So... I was able to enjoy the same problem that tim had, and was not able to fix gdm the way I suggested (which had worked with previous versions of GDM). I looked into what MRO suggested, and found that I was able to get Enlightment listed in the gdm windowmanagers... this is how I did it:
* cd /etc/X11/gdm * edit gdm.conf (this part may not be necessary) and edit the default path to include /usr/local/enlightenment/bin * cd ../Sessions * cp Twm Enlightenment * change /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession twm to /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession enlightenment * run gdm-restart then you can click sessions, and select Enlightenment Im sure you can do the same thing to include Fluxbox, or any other unlisted WM's Jamie -- The memory management on the PowerPC can be used to frighten small children. -- Linus Torvalds _______________________________________________ EuG-LUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.efn.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/eug-lug
