Eh, I got downtown with some sampling of itand found efn locked tight.
Not a euglugger was stirring, not even their mice. So I went back toward
the bus station and stopped outside New Odyssey to tweak the router a
little (from outside, of course..)

Walt was just finishing up what he was doing in preparation for the hearty
party there tomorrow and I showed him a little more about how it works.
He noted a few people were in there today with laptops (probably saw
notice here or overheard me talking about it since I set it up all of ..
yesterday), and it seems to be a hit so far.

Cool, I suppose. Except that Gecko blows, naturally. khtml is my layout
engine of choice these days - it too has bugs, but fewer than Gecko by far
thanks to the Konqueror team's aggressive development and Apple's Safari.
Point releases of Safari will be awesome, if current trends are an
indication.

To create a new standard, it takes something that's not just a little bit
different. It takes something that's really new, and really captures
people's imagination, and the Macintosh is the only machine that meets
that standard.
