No, but it is way cool!  I knew about strace before from when you had
told me, but I didn't know you could attach to a running process.  That
is so awesome.  Forget about cell phones with ip addresses, this is a
true geek moment!  Anyway the other information notably select(2) was
what I was after.  However I will remember strace -p.
