Speed is hardly the issue unless you're looking for some PC4000
or faster. ECC is higher cost more than anything. Any
milliseconds lost to timing would probably be made up for in the
scrubbing of any potential errors which could reduce downtime.

That something I'm sure you can agree on. Uptime makes up for
lost time.
