I've used a KVM switch, of the "hit-scroll-lock-twice-to-switch" variety, with no problems between Linux and Windows. I don't know of any reason this wouldn't work, assuming same peripheral bus (VGA, PS/2, USB, whatever). It should be transparent to each system. PS/2 to USB translation dongles even work if you want to use a different peripheral than your switch is made for.

Hey guys, I picked up a data switcher a couple of weeks ago and was wondeing if I hook it up to my current monitor on my linux box and than add the Mac box to the switch and work between linux and mac within the same monitor, would there'd be any problems whatsoever, if working between computers within on monitor??

Thanks -

Jeff
