If the mouse is a proper HID device, then a generic program could (and
should) be written for which a mouse profile could be written, similar to
the way xkeycaps works. If all Logitech had to do was produce one graphic
of the mouse, a set of masks to represent buttons, and a translation of
HID events to physical doohickies on the mouse, I bet you they'd be more
open to it--especially if you could find someone at Logitech who actually
works on their drivers or something.

I haven't got direct interest in this because the only mice Logitech makes
that I can use are the standard/cheap 3-button wheelmice. That said, if
the program shows up, I'd be willing to approach Razer and find out who to
contact at Apple regarding their mouse as well.

My Diamondback seems not to collect dust, although it hasn't been
displaced as much as an inch in the past week. ;)

Oh no, he can live. Transgaming should die. ;)
