(Takes an awful lot of energy to break it). Just wondering if hydrogen won't end up being a dead end; it will cost so much to get to it, it won't just be robbing Peter to pay Paul; it will bankrupt the economy.
The thing that far too many people are ignorant of is that hydrogen is not an energy source. Hydrogen is a means of storing energy from other sources. Don't compare hydrogen to solar or nuclear. Do compare hydrogen to batteries or jerry cans.
Whew. Glad that's cleared up. (Was scared for a second that respondents were starting to wax pedantic).
Love my ole jerry can; it's the only gas container in the garage that actually does NOT leak, and from which I can pour gasoline without spilling a drop.
